Has My Shift Been Cancelled?

If you’re unsure about your upcoming shift, there are quick ways to confirm its status.

How to Check

Method 1 — Bookings Section

  1. Log into your Airlocum account.

  2. Go to Bookings.

  3. A cancelled shift will show an updated status.

Method 2 — Booking Details

  1. In Bookings, click the three dots (⋯) next to the shift.

  2. Select Booking Information to view the current status and details.

Automatic Notifications

If a practice cancels your shift, you'll be told straight away. We send both:

  • An SMS to your registered mobile number.

  • An email to your registered address.

Both are sent immediately when the cancellation happens, so you won't be left guessing.

Late Cancellation Protection

If a practice cancels with less than 18 hours' notice, you receive 100% of the booking fee as compensation. This protects you for time you've set aside, travel you may have planned, and income you were counting on.

What to Do Next

If your shift is still active

Prepare as normal. When you set off, use the Send ETA / check-in feature to let the practice know you're on your way — you'll get a reminder about 60 minutes before the shift starts, and using it also boosts your booking priority.

If your shift has been cancelled

  • Look for new opportunities in your area.

  • Check Unclaimed Shifts for additional work.

  • Keep your availability calendar up to date so practices can find you.
