If you're chasing a payment that seems overdue, follow these quick steps to track it down.

Step 1: Check Your Stripe Account First

Most "missing” payments are actually sitting in your Stripe account waiting to transfer to your bank.

Quick Check:

  1. Go to Get Paid section in your Airlocum profile

  2. Click "Open Stripe Dashboard"

  3. Check your Stripe balance

Step 2: Understanding the Full Payment Journey

Your payment follows this path:

  1. Practice approves timesheet → Payment processed

  2. Payment reaches Stripe account (3-18 days depending on practice payment method)

  3. Stripe transfers to your bank (automatic, can take up to 4 additional days)

Many locums only check their bank account and miss Step 2!

Step 3: While We Investigate

When you contact us about a missing payment, please send a screenshot of your Stripe dashboard balance while we check our system.

This helps us quickly determine if the payment is:

  • ✅ Already in your Stripe account (waiting for bank transfer)

  • 🔍 Still processing through our system

  • ⚠️ Genuinely delayed and needs our immediate attention
